Latin Equip was founded by Steve and Shelly Hopkins in 1989 after 6 years of missions work in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Latin Equip currently works in Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela, where Steve and Shelly meet pastors where they are at spiritually, economically, and socially. Through pastoral Roundtables, one-on-one mentoring, and personal counseling, pastors receive the help they need so they can minister from a healthy place and make a greater Kingdom impact in the communities they serve. Together with our partners, Latin Equip currently serves 120 pastors throughout these three countries and is empowering over 36,000 people to serve. More than 14,000 are coming to Jesus and are being baptized each year.
