PROMPT:
Christmas reminds us that Christ came to illuminate a world in need of light. Reflect on one way you have seen the light of Christ show up in your life in this season.
PRACTICE:
Light the candle provided
Read John 1:4-5 “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”
Share or reflect on one way you will commit to shine the light of Christ this week. (An act of kindness, extending forgiveness, choosing to trust Jesus, taking a step of faith, etc).
PRAYER:
Lord, we thank you that nothing is too dark for your light to overcome. Give us hope in all things, peace in hard places, and joy no matter our circumstance. Help us to receive the depth of your love, so we too, can extend the light of your love to others.
In Jesus name, Amen.
