From earliest memories of meeting Jesus as a young girl, my heart was set on world missions. As an adult, I served in Canada for 4 ½ years before moving to Greece 40 years ago. From the base location of Greece, as women were not allowed at that time to lead ministries, I started a ladies’ Bible study. Doors began to open for Communist Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The Lord encouraged me to never fight, just go and do. I firmly believe because of that, the Lord birthed the local church I presently pastor in Greece and continued to develop wider ministry throughout the region.
Open doors continued to present themselves through the region and European & Middle Eastern Ministries (EME Ministries) was formed in 1997, of which I serve as Executive Director. The focus is for EME endeavors to enable worshipping communities (churches and ministerial groups) to transform their local environments through leadership training, prayer initiatives, support and development of women and next generation leadership in particular, through education and community/business development projects.
Though many would consider these areas difficult, I have sensed through the years the favor of God. The privilege of ministering as a woman, I believe, is paving the way for other women to follow their calling. Part of my calling is to also make the Western Church aware of this great harvest field yet to be reaped. I am helping to recruit the people, the money, the agencies and partnerships to make ministry thrive in the hardest of the hardest places, the Middle East and North Africa. To see the present and future generations of leaders, especially women, developed to function with excellence in their present and future environment in this region is a passion.
Join this ministry in praying for:
- For the Lord to connect with ministry partners that have heart and want relationship with this region to see the greatest harvest yet to come.
- There is much transition in the region due to war/ famine/ economic decline, the ramifications of Covid. Pray for the Church to partner with those on the ground to serve in every area that will bring the light of the Kingdom to change the heart of this region.
- Influence and favor among the ministries on the ground, that we might come alongside and encourage, strengthen and help build in the present-day move of the Holy Spirit in our region.Spirit in our region.
- Inspiration and vision for new initiatives, new relationships in the areas of job development for believers in North Africa, and the effective raising and empowering of women in leadership in our region to advance quickly and with effectiveness and longevity, as well as someone to come and help take the local church to the next or new level.
